Mrs Levett, who black junior bridesmaid dresses works as a balloon artist, said: ‘I’ve made dresses for both of the girls. I’ve made a blue skirt and top for Vicky and a black and white balloon dress for Natalie.

‘They have both worn them out, but they are both very wary of someone sticking a pin into them for a joke.

‘They can last a couple of weeks before the balloons start to go down.’

Vicky, who works at specsavers, added: ‘The dresses are great. It makes a nice change from wearing ordinary clothes. Getting into the outfits is a bit black bridesmaid dresses difficult in case any of the balloons pop, but once they are on they are very comfortable.

‘My friends can’t believe it when they see me wearing mum’s balloon clothes. They love it because its so different.’

Mrs Levett added: ‘Kate’s wedding dress was the ultimate challenge.

I’m crazy about balloons and love thinking up new things to make. I can literally make anything out of balloons and I use them for lots of things. I even use them to tie my runner beans up in my garden instead of canes.

‘My ambition is to make a ball gown wedding dresses dress for Lady Gaga - I think she’d look fabulous dressed in balloons.’

MARQUETTE -- Barbara O'Neill loves clothing with a personal touch.

"I've always liked to sew, I used to sew my children's clothes and I made my wedding dress and I made formal dresses for my daughters," says O'Neill.

It was Barbara's passion for customized apparel that lead her to open the Embroidery Warehouse in Marquette five years ago. Barbara says she faced the same challenges as any new small business owner, she learned she'd have to wear many hats.

"You do everything from your pay roll, to your taxes, to cocktail dresses your book keeping, and then you're ordering of your garments and the production end of things," says O'Neill.

To ensure the night was a success, Liz Fields enlisted the help of her local retailer, Serendipity Bridal Salon, with the coordinating of the evening's fashion show, comprised of Spring 2012 styles not yet seen by anyone else. Lacy Pool, Serendipity Bridal Buyer, did a fabulous job styling the runway looks with Toni Federici veils and Kendra Scott jewelry.

Army Wife Network was the media partner, registering guests for the event and securing about 200 couples' spots to attend this free evening. The food by Chef Mike at Spice of Life Catering was absolutely delicious. They topped the night off with mouthwatering Godiva Milkshakes and beautiful cakes prepared by Pastry Chef Eugene. The night was full of surprising twists, turns, and heartfelt encounters.
